Originally from Miami, Parker received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Auburn University and her Juris Doctorate from Loyola University School of Law in New Orleans. With more than 20 years of experience including her position in the Palm Beach County State Attorney’s Office as the Chief Assistant State Attorney, Parker handled many high profile cases such as lead prosecutor for the first Dalia Dippolito case. After thirteen years of public service, Parker made the move into private practice. She represented John Goodman in his 2014 DUI manslaughter trial, raising novel issues regarding blood draws and blood testing. She has provided legal commentary and analysis to local media in high profile cases and on a national level for Court TV, USA Today, CNN and Nancy Grace.  Parker has appeared on several true-crime shows including Dateline, 20/20, Snapped, American Greed, and Nothing Personal. 

Parker volunteers her time and expertise to many organizations including as an advisory board member to the KidSafe Foundation, an organization that focuses on providing children and parents education on sexual abuse, bullying and internet exploitation.
